Our purpose at Community Life Kidz CDC is to offer a service to our community and to love, teach, and take care of children. We are pleased you have chosen us as your child care provider. Children are special gifts from God, and we are thankful for the opportunity to be a part of your child’s life and development. We will offer a variety of activities from an academic and biblical standpoint. We offer a kind, loving, and Christian environment. We want our children and parents to be happy, and we will strive to meet this goal. Our school is a full day program for ages six weeks to five years of age.
Our Facility holds an Exemption Certificate issued from the Department of Human Resources (DHR) for the State of Alabama, which is renewed annually in March. Though we are Exempt from DHR guidelines, we do strive to comply as close to those guidelines as possible. The director, serving under the Pastor and a Daycare Board of the church, administers the program. The facilities and staff are inspected and approved regularly by the Department of Health and the State Fire Marshall’s Office. We use the A Beka curriculum for ages 1-5. All of our children will receive weekly class time for instruction in music, arts and crafts, and basic skills for their age level. Our role as caregivers is to be a support to parents and work with you in ways that will help your children be all God has created them to be.
Meet Our Directors
I have been at Community Life Kidz since 2008. I began with the One Year Old class and transitioned to the Two Year Old class to begin teaching curriculum. In January of 2010 I moved into the position of Director. As much as I loved the classroom, I love being Director! With it comes true challenges, but the rewards far surpass them! I get my teaching passion fulfilled daily during Bible. This is what I was created for! I love participating with and teaching these precious children the Word of God! I was raised in the Huntsville area most of my life. I graduated from Buckhorn High School in 1992. I moved to Livingston, Alabama and received my Nursing Degree in 1995 from the University of West Alabama. I worked in Demopolis, AL as an RN before having my first child. My husband, Chris, and I have served in Children’s Ministry since 1997 and continue that passion today at Community Life Church. My husband and I have four children: Seth, Nathan, Anna Beth and Noah. (and three fur babies: Koda, Daisy and Lily)! I love being here at CLK. There’s an atmosphere of love and unity among the staff and families. It truly is one great big Family!
